Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the successful execution of projects from initiation to completion. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and the ability to effectively manage resources and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Arrives at the office on the job site 7:30 AM
- Supervises and supports the Lead Carpenters on his/her team
- Coordinates work between the office and the job sites
- Develops and implement project plans
- Creates and maintains project schedules, ensuring tasks are completed on time and within budget
- Monitor sproject progress and make adjustments as necessary to ensure successful completion
- Meets with carpenters weekly to review and update the detailed project schedule looking 3 weeks ahead
- Conduct regular project status meetings with team members and stakeholders
- Manage project budgets, including tracking expenses and ensuring adherence to financial guidelines
- Provide leadership and guidance to project team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
Experience:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager or similar role
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies and best practices
- Proficient in budgeting and financial management for projects
- General understanding of construction phases and best practices
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire team members
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience in requirements analysis and gathering stakeholder feedback
- Experience with project management software commonly used in the remodeling industry
- Proficiency in MS Office software including Excel, Word, and Power Pount
