Assistant Director of Undergraduate Enrollment Management - Downstate Territory (Not NYC)
Primary Function: Responsibilities of this admissions position include meeting with families, application evaluation, territory management and travel planning for recruitment. The ideal candidate will have an interest in working with high school students and their families though the college admissions process while enthusiastically promoting Russell Sage College.
Position Summary: The individual in this position will work toward their own goals, while being a part of a dynamic, collaborative enrollment management team. The primary focus of the admissions team is to identify, recruit and enroll a highly qualified and diverse new and transfer student class each year through the implementation of a comprehensive recruiting and prospect management.
Admission Goals: The Assistant Director will bring in 50-80 students Fall/Spring depending on territory
Duties and Responsibilities:
The estimated salary is $58,458 per year for 40 hours per week for 52 weeks.
The successful candidate will have a bachelor's degree and must be self-directed, team-oriented and capable of working toward individual and common institutional goals. Interpersonal skills, excellent written and oral communication skills are necessary. Preference will be given to candidates with a proven record of accomplishment and orientation toward consumer satisfaction. In addition, the successful candidate will have a high energy level, and possess a high level of computer literacy and analytical skills.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree - Valid Drivers' License
Computer Skills: Ability to use software applications including databases to track information and produce reports. Knowledge of student information systems a plus. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite
