Summary:
Actively participates in a team-orientated inpatient and outpatient diabetes program. Responsible for individual patient assessment, education, follow-up and group diabetes teaching. Performs total direct and indirect care based on the individual's professional discipline's guidelines and the American Diabetes Association standards of practices in the clinical setting. Demonstrates the ability to deliver holistic care, while recognizing the patient's right to individualized care and treatment. Assists with the development and implementation of the Center's objectives and works cooperatively to attain them. Exemplifies the Rush mission, vision and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
