RUSH Oak brook Surgery Center is Hiring a Medical Records Specialist Near Brook, IL
- Shift will be from 8:30-5:00pm, includes 30 minute unpaid lunch break
- Oversee patient medical record audits and ensure each patient chart is audited.
- Obtain, scan and track surgeon operative reports
- Manage pathology results by requesting from the hospital, obtain surgeon signatures, upload to patient chart
- Handle all medical record requests from law offices and patients
- Keep track of any hospital transfers that occur
- Complete normothermia and antibiotic timing audits
- Main coverage for afternoon front desk as needed
- Extremely detail-oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication

- Op reports
- Medical record requests
- Pathology reports
- Normothermia
- Hospital tracker report
- QAPI audits
- Infection Control Reports
