RUSH Oak brook Surgery Center is Hiring a Medical Records Specialist Near Brook, IL

  • Shift will be from 8:30-5:00pm, includes 30 minute unpaid lunch break
  • Oversee patient medical record audits and ensure each patient chart is audited.
  • Obtain, scan and track surgeon operative reports
  • Manage pathology results by requesting from the hospital, obtain surgeon signatures, upload to patient chart
  • Handle all medical record requests from law offices and patients
  • Keep track of any hospital transfers that occur
  • Complete normothermia and antibiotic timing audits
  • Main coverage for afternoon front desk as needed
  • Extremely detail-oriented
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Dependable
  • Adaptable

  • Medical record requests
  • Pathology reports
  • Normothermia
  • Hospital tracker report
  • QAPI audits
  • Infection Control Reports
