About Us:

Runk & Pratt Companies is a dynamic and growing company with a family of premier lifestyle service businesses, founded in healthcare and hospitality. We are currently seeking an IT Specialist Level I-II to join our dedicated IT team and support our ongoing IT operations.

Position Overview:

As an IT Specialist Level I-II, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of cabling systems, surveillance cameras, computers, and other technology equipment on-site at various client locations. Your technical expertise and attention to detail are critical in ensuring the reliability and performance of our clients' IT infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

Installation:

■ Lead installation of cabling, security cameras, computers and other devices as needed.

End-User Support:

● Provide first-level technical support to employees, helping them with hardware and software issues.

● Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software problems promptly and efficiently.

● Assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures, including setting up and decommissioning user accounts and equipment.

Hardware and Software Maintenance:

● Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of computer hardware and software.

● Perform routine hardware and software updates and upgrades.

● Maintain an inventory of IT assets and equipment.

Network Support:

● Assist with network troubleshooting and maintenance tasks.

● Help maintain network security, including antivirus software and firewalls.

● Support remote access solutions for employees working from off-site locations.

Documentation and Training:

● Create and update IT documentation, including user guides and manuals.

● Provide training and guidance to employees on IT-related topics and best practices.

IT Projects:

● Collaborate with the IT team on various IT projects, such as system upgrades and migrations.

● Assist with the implementation of new IT solutions and technologies.

Security and Compliance:

● Assist in enforcing IT security policies and practices.

● Participate in IT audits and compliance initiatives.

Qualifications:

● High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus).

● Basic knowledge of computer hardware, operating systems (Windows, macOS), and software applications.

● Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

● Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

● Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.

● Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A , Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus but not required.
