Run Studios is Hiring a Video Editor Near Seattle, WA

RUN Studios is searching for a creative Video Editor to help the in-house production team located in downtown Seattle.
 
This is currently slated as a 3-month project with potential to convert to full-time regular employment based on performance and client requirements. 
This is a key role in the post-production process and the editor's skill determines the quality and delivery of the final product. The editor will use their skills and creativity for editing high-quality video content for various projects, including promotional videos, docu-style storytelling, scripted narrative, live event, training videos, social media content, and more. The video editor will work closely with our creative team to bring ideas to life, ensure that projects are completed on time and to the highest standard, and contribute to the growth and success of our organization.  
As a Video Editor, You Will 
  • Assemble the final product as a sequence consisting of shots from the raw camera footage, dialogue, sound effects, and graphics.
  • Partner with post-production team to improve workflows and efficiencies and drive improvements for our clients.
  • Ensure that all videos are completed on time and meet the highest standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including motion designers, producers, and directors, to create cohesive and engaging content.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload to meet project deadlines.
  • Continuously develop and refine skills and knowledge related to video editing, including new software and techniques.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to improve outcomes of projects.
  • Provide excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
As an Applicant, You Bring 
  • 5 years of Video Editing experience.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Audition, Adobe Media Encoder, and basic skills in Adobe After Effects.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate across teams and management.
  • Strong self-management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail; consistently produce accurate work product.
  • Sense of urgency and excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to take initiative and seek out resources and tools to increase effectiveness.
  • Ability to maintain efficiency in a fast paced environment.

Compensation 
Pay Range: $68,000 - $72,000 (Annualized)  
The successful candidate’s starting pay within this range will be based on various factors such as individual qualifications and work location.  
Benefits: 
Benefits and perks may vary depending on location and nature of the work, but eligible employees have access to medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D benefits, health savings and flexible spending accounts, other telehealth and wellness benefits, a minimum of seven paid holidays per year, accrual of at least 6.5 days (Temporary Employment) to at least 15 days (Regular Employment) of paid time off per year, a 401k plan with company match, discretionary bonuses dependent on company, team or individual performance, and referral bonuses for eligible hired referrals.
