Rugby Architectural Building Products is a wholesale distributor of specialty building products, operating out of 29 branches throughout the United States. We primarily sell lumber products for our customers to make beautiful things and build happiness.

Position: We are growing and seeking Dispatcher for our warehouse. You will communicate with drivers, warehouse personnel, and customers to ensure coordinated schedules and timely delivery to our customers.

Your Day-to-Day: to excel in this role, you will need to...

  • Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through excellence in receiving, dispatching and assuring quality of product.
  • Ensure warehouse staff and delivery driver’s work safely, attend safety meetings and follow all safety procedures and policies.
  • Assists as necessary the loading and unloading of trucks to minimize damage to material.
  • Receive and prioritize service requests.
  • Dispatch drivers and field personnel.
  • Monitor task progress and provide updates.
  • Coordinate routes and schedules for efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate dispatch records.
  • Respond to emergencies and service disruptions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service.
  • Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines.
  • This role is a safety sensitive position, subject to routine drug screenings.
