Responsibilities
- Reviews and analyzes financial data, documents and manual or automated accounting systems
- Works under the supervision of an auditor or financial analyst
- Maintaining the expert contract file storage
- Monitoring the Expert info mailbox
- Coordinating with the Justice Management Division (JMD) on reimbursable agreement document issues and coordinating with other agencies to complete Treasury form
- Processing account payable invoices and answering invoice inquiries
- Preparing daily verification reports
Processing receipt and debt collection checks
Requirements
- Must be able to work on-site in Washington, DC twice a week (3 days a week remote)
- Must be able to pass a DOJ background
- Must have proficient knowledge of manual and automated accounting system
- Must have two-year degree in accounting or four-year degree in a related field or relevant
- Experience in finance or accounting performing technical level duties
- Must have at least 2 years experience in a government agency litigation support environment
- Working knowledge of document management databases
- Comfort with administrative tasks and using office equipment, copiers, faxes, answering phones
