RTP is Hiring a Process Engineering Technician Near South Boston, VA
Process technicians monitor and improve the manufacturing process and are responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine parameters, reporting equipment malfunctions, and observing and testing batch quality.
Work Schedule: 1st Shift
Responsibilities
- Identifies and solves issues or problems with equipment/process. Troubleshoots possible causes and coordinates the activities of maintenance, production, and other available resources to implement cost effective solutions.
- Assists in developing, designing, and communicating manufacturing processes.
- Monitors and revises processes to help generate cost savings and improve the quality and efficiency of product/process.
- Assists in design reviews to improve the ability to manufacture products.
- Provides coordination of new process installation and process changes.
- Other duties as assigned.
