RSM is seeking an experienced professional within our Transaction Advisory Services group to assist in developing and executing ourdataanalyticsofferingsto our middle-market clients. We work with corporate and private equity clients on complex decisions that involve strong analysis, extensive modeling, and advanced data analytics across a wide variety of industries.
You will leverage yourstrongdata analytics skillsto enable our clients to execute theirtransactions while maximizing the deal value; this willensure effective financial and operational decisions in a data-driven environment.
Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise the data analytics process through all phases of the engagement lifecycle

• Gather data, understand client issues, and formulate pragmatic data solutions

• Perform and conduct data analysis to support business processes and financial reporting

• Prepares detailed financial analysis to help clients evaluate their acquisition decisions and financing requirements

• Understand operational metrics (e.g. cost and risk profiles associated with products, customer, and vendor portfolios)

• Maximize revenue and growth opportunities; devise go-to-market strategy through advanced analytics

• Work closely with the client andtheRSM Transaction Advisory team to design and implement solutions revolving around complex data analytics. Lead and collaborate to develop strategies that address client needs

• Manage expectation of service delivery, monitor progress, manage risk, and ensure key stakeholders are informed of progress and projected outcomes

• Demonstrate strong quality execution and delivery

• Create internal and external awareness of data analytics capabilities and develop relationships with market and service leaders

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of workin an accounting/finance/deals capacity, with the ideal candidate possessing data analytics skills or strong data analytics aptitude

• Degree inaccounting or financepreferred

• Advanced Excel skills

• Strong analytical, project management, communication, teamwork, and interpersonal tools

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with data analytics tools such as:

• SQL

• ETL tools-Alteryxpreferred

• BI / Dynamic dashboard experience (such as Power BI,Qlik, Tableau);

• Visual studio - SSAS tabular or multi-dimensional, and MDX knowledge

• Visual studio - SSRS (reporting services)

• DAX knowledge

• Python knowledge
