Job Summary: RSI is recruiting for an early-career geologist/environmental scientist to join our environmental services team to evaluate soil, groundwater, surface water, and/or wetland conditions on the Department of Energy (DOE) Oak Ridge Reservation. The successful candidate will support the Environmental Services team in developing and implementing environmental media remedies as part of the CERCLA process, ultimately working to restore the land to its beneficial use. Duties and Responsibilities:

• Evaluate environmental data to make interpretations of subsurface geology and aquifer conditions
• Prepare a variety of environmental documents including sampling plans, remedy completion reports and data quality assessments
• Participate in collaborative meetings with DOE client, and regulatory agencies EPA and Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC)
• Interface with field sampling teams to track data collection activities

Key Requirements, Education, and Experience:

• B.S./M.S. in Environmental Science, Geosciences, or other applicable physical science or engineering
• Capable of making pivot tables, charts, graphs, etc using Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with ArcPro software
• Experience with statistics a plus
