Responsibilities
- Operate various equipment and hand tools to perform daily landscaping tasks.
- Ensure proper hydration of lawns, trees, and plants using appropriate watering techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of outdoor spaces, including sidewalks, driveways, and parking lots.
- Plan and cultivate lawns, turfs, or gardens in line with landscaping designs.
- Distribute topsoil and/or straw over newly seeded areas.
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides as needed.
- Install new landscaping materials and specialty features.
- Trim plant material as necessary for installation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Understanding of basic landscaping practices and procedures.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently, thoroughly, and follow directions.
- Experience operating power equipment and hand tools for landscaping.
- Valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and lift up to 40 pounds.
- Must be at least 16 years of age.
