Join our team as a Satellite Landscape Crew Member, where you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the beauty of our clients' residential and commercial properties. Our company prides itself on delivering top-notch landscaping services, and we are looking for a dedicated individual who can help us uphold our high standards. This role involves coordinating with the Landscape Manager to ensure all projects are completed to company standards, and optimizing efficiency, productivity, sales, and profitability.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist crew in daily assignments and routines
• Delegate tasks to maintain productivity and profitability
• Support ongoing learning and development of team members
• Operate a variety of equipment to complete daily assignments
• Ensure proper hydration of lawns, trees, and plants
• Maintain cleanliness of the work area
• Plan and cultivate lawns, turf, or gardens
• Deliver and spread topsoil and/or straw over newly seeded areas
• Apply fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass, shrubs or trees
• Install new landscaping materials and specialty features
• Comply and enforce all safety rules and regulations

Qualifications

• Knowledge of landscape practices and procedures
• One year experience in landscape or related field
• Previous supervisory experience preferred
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to operate various types of power equipment and hand tools required for landscape
• Understanding of how to properly hydrate various types of lawns, greenery, and plants
• Ability to follow and enforce company policies and procedures
• Ability to multi-task, be detail oriented, delegate, and mediate
• Valid driver’s license
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Physical Requirements

Applicants must be able to stand, walk, stretch, bend, climb ladders, kneel, and pull for prolonged periods. They must also be able to work in a variety of weather conditions and lift up to 40 pounds at a time.
