SUMMARY
The Nurse provides health care services to program clients, assists clinical staff with the development of treatment goals that pertain to medical issues, and acts as a liaison between agency staff and program members, attending physicians and health care providers. The nurse educates both staff and program members on health issues and assists in the development of agency policy with regard to health issues. Success is a result of innovation and creativeness, flexibility, and a willingness to apply learned practices and experiences effectively. Success cannot be measured in time. Flexibility and effective time management practices are essential. This position calls for self-confidence, creativity, and the ability to exercise individual discretion or judgment. Sound organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple taskings are a must. S/he must be able to devote the time required to ensure effective support to employees and the agency. S/he must be able to dissolve and resolve conflict within the staff and client structure. S/he must possess a high level of crisis management skill, and the ability to work through crisis situations in a professional, therapeutic and positive manner. This position is classified as a category 2 driving position.
Pay ranges from $75,000-$90,000 annually
