We are currently seeking a dedicated and skilled IV Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team in Aurora, Colorado.

Job Description: As an IV Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medication under the direct supervision of a pharmacist. Your role is crucial in maintaining and enhancing patient care by ensuring that all medications are safely and accurately prepared and distributed.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare medications in an aseptic environment, including but not limited to, compounding sterile products, chemotherapy, and parenteral nutrition.
• Calculate correct dosage volumes, identifying appropriate ingredients and mixing components.
• Use aseptic techniques to ensure sterility and correct dosages of all compounded products.
• Handle and process prescriptions with accuracy and efficiency.
• Conduct inventory checks and manage supplies to ensure availability of necessary medication components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to comply with health and safety regulations.
• Adhere to all pharmacy procedures for medication safety, compliance, and record keeping.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday:9:00am - 5:00pm

Qualifications:

• CO Pharmacy Technician License
• 2-years IV compounding experience Hospital or home infusion
