Job Title: Controller
Department: Accounting
SUMMARY:
· Report to the CEO
· Manage all Finance, Accounting, Payroll, and Bookkeeping functions
· Manage the financial data necessary for consolidated business operation and results
including RMAs and credits as regarding that data.
· Work with VP of Sales on Sales plans and its deliverables
· Oversee IT service providers and general maintenance of equipment such as PCs,
printers, etc.
· Supports the creation of the HR policy and implementation within team and the
company
· Assists and supports the facility’s needs regarding security, oversight, and operation
to ensure a safe environment for the employees and the assets of the company at all
times.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree and knowledge of small business Finance operations
Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, and controller level roles
· Expertise in QuickbooksTM and Manufacturing Inventory software from all aspects
including working with banks, accounts, etc
· Expertise in general business productivity software including MS Office Suite
· Expertise in process management and software to implement appropriate practices
· Proficient executive level communication to banks, insurance entities, and other
business service partners including phone, email, presentation, and visits
· Proficient analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
· Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Ability to build collaborative relationships while working with diverse groups
· Ability to work independently with little supervision on daily tasks.
AREAS OF Responsibility:
· Manage the Finance department including creation and oversight of Financials, Balance
Sheets, and debt schedules
· Manage Accounts Receivable including RMAs and credits with the CEO and VP of Sales’
input
· Manage Accounts Payable with CEO and VP of Operations input
· Supervise cash management within the company’s bank accounts and appropriate
payables and receivables and distributions
· Work with VP of Operations on preparing, processing and balancing MISys documents
and reports for monthly inventory as required.
· Oversee and manage the company’s insurance policies with the CEO and Secretary of
the Company
· Oversee and manage the company’s employee benefits policy and its vendors with the
CEO and Secretary of the Company
· Oversee and manage all corporate operation requirements with the County, State, and
Federal government oversight bodies or commissions
· Develop expense and infrastructure plans to meet demand for each department
· Assist with IT infrastructure needs as requested and directed
· Support sales to win new business and help with existing customers
· Support and help lead the company’s efforts to maintain ISO 9001 certification
· Supports CEO/Management to meet the business plan goals.
