POSITION SUMMARY:
The Community Education Liaison (CEL) is responsible for promoting andmarketing hospice/palliative care services and expertise to the medicalcommunity. This is an outside salesposition requiring the individual to regularly work in the field, promoting, encouragingand establishing utilization of hospice and palliative care services.
The CEL should have business tobusiness sales experience, preferably in healthcare.
The CEL should be passionate,responsible, diligent, persistent, professional and able to explain the valueof hospice and palliative care services. The CEL must be comfortable using computers and various technologyapplications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in health care or equivalent, marketing/sales or public relations, preferred.
- Two years of marketing or healthcare experience, preferred.
- Good marketing skills. Ability to communicate and educate effectively and establishing working relationships.
- Valid driver’s license, and auto insurance, reliable and well-maintained transportation.
