Description

• Harvest planning and supervision, implementing silvicultural prescriptions, and asset protection.
• A combination of both field- and office-based duties, such as forest inventories, streamside management zone, and boundary marking, collecting GPS field data, prescribed burning, logging and planting supervision, and computer-based reporting and management.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in forestry
• Outstanding safety record in all aspects of previous employment

• Ability to use Microsoft Office and ESRI software
• Experience in conducting performance assessments and applying appropriate control measures, timber-sales administration and inspections, and forest measurements.
