Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Specialist/Client retention specialist. As a Customer Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, addressing their inquiries, and ensuring their satisfaction. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills.

Retention Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming new clients! Our first communication w/ a new client is positive, and lays out the required documentation for moving forward. Focus on a call script that lays out expectations.
  • Analyzing customer behavior.
  • Gathering information about customer complaints.
  • Developing aggressive retention strategies based on customer feedback.
  • Negotiating with customers to renew contracts and retain business.
  • Meeting with the sales team to propose customer retention solutions.
  • Writing and presenting customer behavior reports.
  • Building positive relationships with customers and business associates.
  • Preparing Customer files for legal review/ discourse w/ Clients and Legal team

In addition:
- Perform data entry to update customer records and maintain accurate information
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and adhere to phone etiquette standards

Experience:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to analyze customer needs and provide appropriate solutions
- Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail
- Multilingual abilities are a plus
