Assembly Line Worker

JOB:

To effectively Operate multi-head Barudan and/or Tajima embroidery machines for our fast-paced manufacturing facilities in Durham. Be a part of a growing business in the apparel industry. We are hiring now! We will train you.

LOCATION: Durham, NC

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Operate multi-head Barudan and/or Tajima embroidery machines
  • Responsible for the daily production of embroidering products
  • Ensure operational goals are met daily/weekly
  • Monitor quality control to guarantee all products are of the best quality
  • Excellent organizational skills with demonstrated ability to prioritize effectively
  • Attention to detail for accurate logo placement and color threads
  • Good vision is needed to visually inspect every product
  • Ability to stand for your entire shift
  • Ability to read and write
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (boxes) throughout your entire shift
  • Ability to work in a high volume environment
  • Help in other production areas as needed

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • ·Clean and bright climate-controlled warehouse
  • Secure building
  • Work independently

JOB TYPE:

  • Full-time

SALARY:

  • Competitive weekly pay

SCHEDULE:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekends mandatory/required based on clients demand

EXPERIENCE:

  • Ability to thread a needle is a must
  • Embroidery Machine Operator experience is a plus
  • Sewing or embroidery experience is a plus
  • The ability to operate Barudan or Tajima machines is a plus

SHIFT AVAILABILITY:

  • 1st Shift (8 hours)
  • 2nd Shift (9 hours)
