Description

As a Marketing Intern for Round Hill Records, you will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience and develop essential skills in various aspects of digital marketing. This position is ideal for candidates who are eager to learn and grow in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Throughout the course of your internship, you will:

• Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate marketing campaigns, including organizing assets, creating timelines, and communicating with team members to ensure all aspects of the campaign are executed effectively.
• Assist with the creation of marketing content, such as social media posts, email newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop creative, engaging content that effectively promotes the label’s music releases and artists.
• Learn how to conduct market research to identify new opportunities for the label and its artists, as well as staying up to date on trends.

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team; must be self-motivated
• Enrolled in or completed a relevant degree program, such as marketing, music business, or a related field.
• Creativity and a keen eye for detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Intern Eligibility:

• Preferably an upper classman who must be currently enrolled in a college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter prior to participation in the internship program OR graduated within the past 12 months
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Must be available at least 20 hours per week/flexible schedule

Internship Dates: June 3, 2024 – July 29, 2024.
