Landscape Designer
Rotolo Consultants, Inc. (RCI) is seeking to hire a Landscape Designer with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. The candidate shall have some experience performing hardscape, plant, irrigation, accent lighting and drainage design and construction document preparation. The position requires knowledge of AutoCAD, Land F/X, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop), and Microsoft Office Tools. Knowledge of Sketch Up, Lumion and/or Pool Studio is beneficial.
The ideal candidate has an exceptional attitude, is a self-motivator, performs well alone and in team environments, and can produce landscape design documents day one of being hired. The entry-level candidate is active in pursuing landscape architecture licensure. The candidate has good communication skills and able to represent the company when working on small to large job sites with allied trades. The professional should be familiar with southeastern hardiness plant zones and somewhat familiar with general landscape ordinance requirements for commercial developments.
The chosen candidate will answer to the director of landscape architecture and work closely with business development and the maintenance divisions in support of projects within their regional markets. Scheduling is monitored weekly in a standing meeting with the company owners and division managers.
