As an Estimating Assistant, you will assist the Estimating team in the processing of Landscape Maintenance contracts, from takeoff to handoff.

The ideal Estimating Assistant candidate will be open to relocating to either our Houston, TX or Panama City Beach, FL office locations for future opportunities.

The duties & responsibilities of an Estimating Assistant include:

• Average project size of $25,000 with supervision
• Assist in takeoffs for Estimators and Senior Estimators
• Maintain an organized list of tasks by project
• Read plans and specifications for each assigned project
• Participate in pre-bid/ scope detail and handoff meetings
• Submit internal questions for clarification and to gain a competitive edge when possible
• Perform takeoffs in the field and utilize AutoCAD
• Utilize mapping software to assist in building takeoffs - NearMap & Google Earth
• Create initial bid with takeoff detail and any other applicable detail gained through internal discussions
• Participate in the bid review and proposal with supervisor
• Successful implementation of goals set by self and manager

Estimating Assistant Compensation/Benefits include:

• Annual Salary of $35,586 - $40,000 commensurate with experience
