Lead Mitigation Technician

Salary - $18 -$24 hourly - based on experience!

Roto-Rooter Plumbers is looking for a Lead Water Restoration Technician to join our elite team of professionals in our Water Cleanup division!

Ideal candidate will be a hard worker who understands the ins and outs of water damage and mitigation.

IICRC Certification is a MUST! Knowledge of Xactimate is a plus!

As a Lead Water Restoration Technician, your responsibilities will include:

• Responding to daily emergency services.
• Communicate job process with customers and answer questions accordingly.
• Water Extraction.
• Performing demolitions
• Setting up and monitoring drying equipment.
• Setting up the van at the job site using the proper set-up procedures.
• Cleaning up and debris removal of drywall, cabinetry, and flooring that may be damaged.
• Setting up containment, decontaminating, setting up/monitoring remediation equipment
• Maintaining dry logs and scope sheets
• Providing updates to your direct supervisor daily.
• Must maintain a safe work record and identify potentially unsafe working scenarios or conditions.
• Good communication skills, mechanical and technical skills.
• Driving company vehicle as needed.
• Upholding all company safety policies.
• Upholding all company policies and procedures.
• Other tasks as assigned

Requirements include:

• Great attitude and work ethic
• Strong customer service focus & able to communicate effectively with customers
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• A driver’s license with a clean driving record
• High school diploma or GED required
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
