POSITION SUMMARY

The primary role of the Irrigation/Lighting Technician is to service, repair and install outdoor irrigation and lighting systems using best practices under a contract between the client(s) and the company. The Technician will demonstrate proficiency with installing, servicing, and repairing the well-known manufacturer’s systems and will possess advanced knowledge, including the safe and proper use of more challenging tools and equipment, as well as an understanding of more complex systems and designs.

EXPERIENCE

Qualified Lighting and Irrigation Technician candidates will have the following:

• A minimum of 2 years of irrigation and lighting crew experience required or similar vocational training.
• A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Effective supervisory experience a plus
• Experience servicing all aspects of our clients' lighting & irrigation systems (e.g., start-ups/winterizations, repairs, mapping out irrigation areas, installing equipment, seasonal adjustments, etc.), including water features.
• Interpreting and following a lighting and irrigation design plan.
• Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, service, and repair residential landscape lighting and irrigation systems.
• Ability to work within a budget of time and materials.
• Proficiency in leveraging technology/software, Aspire software or similar production software, Microsoft Office (specifically Outlook & Excel)

The position of Landscape Irrigation and Lighting Technician earns a salary range of $55K - $90K based on the applicant's experience and knowledge plus performance-based incentives and full benefits (i.e., health insurance, 401(k) plan, paid time off, continuing professional education, etc.).
