Part-time event assistant to join Rosewood Weddings

Job Description:

As a Wedding Planning Assistant specializing in day-of production, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless execution of weddings on the actual day of the event. Your primary responsibility will be to support the lead wedding planner and the rest of the event team in executing the meticulously planned details that make each wedding a success.

Key Responsibilities:

• On-Site Coordination: Work closely with the lead wedding planner to oversee all aspects of the wedding day, including vendor setup, timeline adherence, and managing any unforeseen issues that may arise.
• Vendor Liaison: Serve as a point of contact for vendors, ensuring they have the necessary information and support to execute their responsibilities effectively.
• Timeline Management: Assist in maintaining and executing the wedding day timeline, ensuring that all activities, from the ceremony to the reception, occur smoothly and on schedule.
• Problem Solving: Address any challenges or unexpected situations that may arise during the event, using quick thinking and resourcefulness to find solutions while minimizing stress for the couple and their guests.
• Guest Assistance: Provide assistance and guidance to guests as needed, including directing them to various locations, answering questions, and ensuring their overall comfort.
• Setup and Breakdown: Help with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring that décor, furniture, and other elements are arranged according to the couple's preferences and venue regulations.
• Attention to Detail: Pay meticulous attention to detail to ensure that every aspect of the wedding day reflects the couple's vision and meets their expectations.
