**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a skilled Registered Medication Aide (RMA) to join our team for the 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM shift. The primary responsibility of the RMA is to administer medication to residents according to the prescribed dosage and schedule under the supervision of a nurse.
**Qualifications:**
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of a state-approved Medication Aide training program.
- Current certification as a Registered Medication Aide (RMA).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in medication administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards residents.
**Responsibilities:**
- Administer medication to residents according to prescribed dosages and schedules.
- Document medication administration and any observed side effects.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, as needed.
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
- Adhere to facility policies and procedures as well as state regulations regarding medication administration.
- Maintain a clean and organized medication cart and medication administration records.
- Participate in training and continuing education programs to maintain certification and stay current on best practices.
