Sentara is Hiring a Registered Nurse Admit Recovery (Full-time days) Near Charlottesville, VA

Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring an RN for our Admit Recovery Department. This is a Full Time, Day shift position in Charlottesville, VA!

Admit Recovery is a 50-bed unit specializing in same day surgery. This unit sees a diverse patient population for radiology, Cath lab, surgical, and endoscopy and is well supported with a 1-3 Nursing Ratio and additional Patient Care Technicians. Operating hours for the unit are 515AM to 730 PM Monday to Friday. Candidates will be expected to rotate shifts within the operational hours in order to maintain competency in all aspects of care both pre and post procedure.

No weekends, no holidays, and NO CALL schedule.

Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience, preferred.
  • Critical Care experience, Preferred.
  • RN License- Required.
  • ASN or BSN from an Accredited School required.
  • ACLS Required within 90 days of hire, preferred prior to hire.
  • BLS required within 90 days of hire.
