Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Insurance Coordinator to join our team. The Insurance Coordinator will be responsible for verifying insurance coverage, coding medical procedures, and ensuring accurate billing and reimbursement. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems, and insurance processes.

Duties:
- Verify insurance coverage and eligibility for patients
- Obtain necessary authorizations for medical procedures
- Review and code medical procedures using ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems
- Ensure accurate and timely submission of insurance claims
- Follow up on outstanding claims and denials
- Communicate with insurance companies to resolve claim issues
- Maintain patient records and update insurance information as needed
- Provide support to the billing department as required

Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental or medical office setting is preferred
- Proficient in medical terminology and coding systems (ICD-9, ICD-10)
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and guidelines
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.08 - $27.79 per hour
