Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Biller to join our team. As a Biller, you will be responsible for accurately processing dental billing and coding, ensuring timely reimbursement, and maintaining accurate patient records. Duties:
- Review and verify dental documentation for accuracy and completeness
- Assign appropriate dental codes to claims
- Prepare and submit claims to insurance companies electronically or by mail
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials, identifying and resolving billing discrepancies
- Communicate with insurance companies, patients, and healthcare providers regarding billing inquiries or disputes
- Maintain accurate patient records, including demographic information, insurance details, and billing history
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines in medical billing practices
- Collaborate with the billing team to improve efficiency and accuracy of billing processes

Experience:
- Proven experience as a Biller or similar role in a dental office setting
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology, coding systems, and billing procedures
- Proficiency in using dental billing software
- Familiarity with insurance guidelines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 25 per week
