Do you have a strong focus on attention to detail and customer service? If so, you are the person we are looking for to join our family as a housekeeper and laundry aide. As a housekeeper and laundry aide, not only will you be responsible for providing our residents with both a clean environment and clean clothes and linen, you’ll also build relationships, improve the quality of life of others and serve the elderly in need of love and care.
As your responsibility as a housekeeper or laundry aide you will perform daily housekeeping tasks of the community in order to maintain a safe and sanitary environment. You will clean, wash, sanitize and dust resident rooms and care center offices, bathrooms, hallways and common areas as well as empty trash/waste all while following safety and infection control standards. As a laundry aide, you will perform washing of resident’s personal laundry, linens, drapes, mops and other miscellaneous garments. You will fold, stack and hang personal clothing and linens of our residents as well as return their personal items to the appropriate area. You’ll have the opportunity to communicate with residents throughout the day and enrich their lives through rewarding work.
