Medical Assistant Job Description

Rose Pediatric Care is currently seeking a bilingual Medical Assistant to join our practice in Temple Hills, MD.

As a Medical Assistant, you would be responsible for:

• ensuring efficient patient flow in examination, consultation and treatments rooms,
• preparing patients for examinations,
• preparing medications for provider administration,
• working within computer systems, taking vitals (when necessary),
• recording patient history, chief complaint, pharmacy information and prescription list, into EMR for physical,
• assist with clinical tasks (when necessary),
• assist patients by providing information and services,
• support clinical staff in performing all duties,
• maintain clinic environment to care and carry out the necessary functions required in accordance with established policies and procedures.

The preferred candidate will have a Medical Assistant certification and/or one year of experience as a Medical Assistant. They will also know how to effectively communicate in both Spanish and English.

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
