Roper St. Francis Healthcare is Hiring a Groundskeeper Near Charleston, SC
The Groundskeeper is responsible for ensuring the grounds are maintained in a clean, orderly and attractive manner. Responsible for ensuring the grounds are free of debris, trash; cleans sidewalks, and disposes of debris and trash properly. Responsible for monitoring the upkeep and maintenance of the landscaping and grounds in the daily performance of rounds. Handles basic preventative and corrective maintenance tasks. Assists other staff with larger maintenance repairs or projects.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: High School Graduate or equivalent.
Experience: Preferred at least one year of experience as groundskeeper.
Licensure/Certification: Must have a current valid SC Drivers License or obtain a valid SC Driver’s License within ninety (90) days of employment.
Primary Source Verification (if applicable): N/A
Knowledge/Skills: Basic knowledge of painting and able to work with hand tools and power tools. Knowledgeable in relevant codes, i.e., OSHA, EPA and Basic Safety. Must have a working knowledge in computers to complete assigned work orders and preventative maintenance using the maintenance software program.
Other: This position requires operation of a vehicle for Roper St. Francis Healthcare business. Due to this job requirement, the selected candidate/employee must possess a valid, current South Carolina driver's license. In addition, the selected candidate/employee must be insurable under the Roper St. Francis Healthcare vehicle insurance plan, which will be verified by reviewing licensure and driving record.
