Job Summary:
We are a casual Italian spot on the Santa Monica strip seeking a reliable and customer-oriented Server to join our team. As a Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service and ensuring a positive dining experience for our customers. Duties:
- Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness of the dining area
- Provide recommendations on menu items and answer any customer inquiries
- Process payments using Lightspeed POS system
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery
- Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with professionalism and resolve issues promptly

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the hospitality or restaurant industry preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and menu items
- Familiarity with Lightspeed or other point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.08 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 36 per week
