Responsibilities of a Maintenance Assistant :
- Performing routine maintenance tasks such as plumbing repairs, electrical work, and HVAC system maintenance
- Assisting with repairs and renovations as directed by the maintenance supervisor
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff, and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Performing janitorial duties as needed, including cleaning and sanitizing common areas and equipment
- Monitoring inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment, and assisting with ordering as necessary
- Adhering to safety regulations and maintaining a safe work environment for yourself and others
Qualifications of a Maintenance Assistant :
- Previous experience in facility maintenance or a related field (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic maintenance techniques and equipment operation
