At Room & Board, our delivery leaders are the foundation of our business; it's crucial they understand their customer, cultivate our culture, develop high caliber teams and contribute to building their business. As a Delivery Leadership Associate, you will report to and be a strong partner to our Delivery Market Manager. You will bring your passion as leader of people to lead, inspire and develop our team of 50 full-service delivery and contract professionals responsible for the inventory/returns and prep/delivery of high quality, American-made home furnishings to residential and business customers throughout Los Angeles and the surrounding area. You will work in a 70,000 sq. ft. delivery center with an average outgoing daily volume of 5000 - 6000 cubes or 100 to 120 deliveries per day.

As a Delivery Warehouse Manager / Inventory Manager / Team Leader, you are passionate about developing others. You are a hands-on leader who is comfortable rolling up your sleeves in managing the day-to-day as you build toward the long-term strategy. Location: 1390 Storm Parkway, Torrance, California 90501 

Schedule: 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM Monday - Friday with additional hours and/or flexibility as needed to fulfill obligations of the role.

The experiences you’ll draw from and the qualifications you’ll bring: warehouse manager

• Experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, delivery, distribution and/or retail management with an operational focus.
• 3 to 5 years of effective leadership in leading and inspiring a team of service professionals, ideally in an inventory environment.
• A demonstrated confidence, high standards when it comes to detail and organization, and a belief that your success is tied directly to the growth and development of the team you lead and how you treat others.
• Exceptional communication skills – both verbal & written.

• Salary: $ 73,500 - $ 91,000 / year (depending on relevant skills and experience)
