Asan accounts payable clerk youwill :

• Completepayments and control expenses by receiving processing verifying andreconcilinginvoices.
• Payemployees by receiving and verifying expense reports usingcompanyspecific accountingsoftware.
• Verifyvendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and relatedtransactions.
• Maintainhistorical records of all invoices reports receipts and checks bysaving documents properly on thenetwork.
• Performmonthly close duties with financial team. andnbsp;
• Confirmsubcontractorbilled working hours bonuses andprojects.
• Investigatepayment issues to a satisfactoryresolution.
• Protectthe companys value by keeping informationconfidential.
• Constantlyupdate jobknowledge.
• Adhere toRoofMasters policies andprocedures.

Asan accounts receivable specialist youwill :

• Dailyinvoicing of service work orders; Including required payapplications or lienwaivers
• Monthlyproduction billings and change order processing (asneeded)
• Monitor trackand amp; follow up with customers to request payment and resolvebillingdiscrepancies.
• Processincoming payments reconcile them with outstanding invoices andupdate the accountingsystem.
• Prepare andsend regular account statements tocustomers.
• Collaboratewith internal departments to address customer inquiries orpaymentrelatedissues.
• Performperiodic reconciliation of customer accounts to ensure accuraterecording oftransactions.
• Monitor / Updateclient portals asneeded.
• Work closelywith the finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting ofaccounts receivabledata.
• Prepare regularreports on accounts receivable aging cash flow projections and keyperformance indicators(KPIs).
• Assist inmonthend and yearend closingprocesses.
• Prepareweekly cost reports for productionprojects.
• Filepreliminary notices and waivers of Lien Rights as per companySOP.
• Request and sendInsurance Certificates and amp; W9s to clients per request. andnbsp;
• Handle depositsand cash receipts as per company SOP. andnbsp;
• Coordinate withnecessary parties for Lien Waivers on paymentsneeded.
• Establisheffective communication lines with otherdepartments.
• Verifycompliance with company policies andprocedures.

Thecandidate shouldpossess :

• ValidTexas drivers license andnbsp;
• BilingualEnglish or Spanish ispreferred.
• High degreeof accuracy and attention todetail.
• Good timemanagement skills and conflict resolutiontechniques.
• Solidunderstanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting Payable and amp;Receivableprinciples.
• Provenability to calculate post and manage accounting figures andfinancialrecords.
• Knowledge ofaccounting principlesprocesses.
• A highschool diploma GED or equivalent isrequired.
• A bachelorsdegree in accounting finance or a related field is aplus.
• One year ofaccounting experience at the clericallevel.
• Proven workingexperience as an Accounts Payable / ReceivableClerk.
• Strong skillsin QuickBooks online Excel PDF DocuSign and service managementsoftware(DataForma).
• Excellentattention to detail and accuracy in data entry andcalculations.
• Abilityto prioritize tasks meet deadlines and work effectively in afastpacedenvironment.
• Strongorganizational and time managementskills
