We are now hiring licensed veterinary technicians for our surgery department. Surgery Technicians provide pre-operative care for surgery patients, assist the anesthesia team with pre-operative physicals and induction, maintain operating room stock and sterilization. Technicians will also assist surgeons while maintaining sterile and aseptic technique and ensure surgical instrumentation is kept appropriately.

• Must be able to lift to 50 lbs. and stand for long periods.
• Teamwork and communication are essential in this facility.
• The hours are typically Monday through Friday with a set start time but require an open end time (the end time depends on caseload and surgeon needs for each day).
• Must have previous equine experience with horses other than their own.
