Immediate opening at our Lexington practice for an Equine Imaging Technician!

We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working, self-starter to join our imaging department. Once trained, primary responsibilities will include performing MRI, CT, PET, and nuclear scintigraphy scans as part of a dynamic team.

Secondary responsibilities including assisting with ultrasonography, radiography, updating medical records, pre-operative preparation of patients, and other procedures. The imaging service is busy with a diverse caseload including foals, sporthorses, and racehorses. The variety and learning opportunities keep this job interesting and engaging.

This full-time position requires candidates to have two years of horse handling experience other than their own horses. Experience with Thoroughbreds or Standardbreds preferred.

The hours are daytime, Monday through Friday, with some overtime required.

Working well independently and with others is essential. Must be capable of lifting 50-75 lbs. consistently and standing for long periods.
