Water mitigation Crew Chief
Requirments:
IICRC Certification, minimum 3 years of experience in water mitigation.
Proven Xcatimate experience is a plus.
Daily Tasks
Make sure your truck is clean and organized. Have all the tools and supplies to run your truck for 2-3 days without coming to the office. Be fully equipped with equipment to run a larger job.
Coordinate with dispatch to get assigned tasks for the day.
On-Site(Loss) Tasks
Really your ETOC to dispatch within 1 hour of arriving on site.
Speak to the property owner and let them know what you are about to do.
Use all provided equipment ie. meters and thermal camera to check the scope of work written by the Project Manager. Update PM first if any changes to scope and then update customers afterward.
Begin by laying down floor protection and setting up dust barriers before beginning work.
Speak to the PM and dispatch about your ETOC and if there are changes to your estimate do it at 50% completion.
Bring all needed tools and equipment into the loss ie. tool bag, PPE, and air scrubber.
Perform all necessary mitigation to the property and then clean up after yourself. ( Remember we may never come back for repairs.)
Input all job notes on site. Break down any tasks that were done after 5 pm Monday through Friday. Saturday and Sunday are already after hours.
Call dispatch to coordinate a time with the customer that works for them for us to return to do the pick-up,
Set up equipment and take post matterport scan.
Off-site(Loss) Tasks
After completing a loss take all trash out of your truck and clean your truck out daily.
Restock supplies as needed to stay in the 2-3 supply window.
If not assigned to losses check with the ESR/Contents/Facilities manager to check on warehouse tasks that can be done. (Clean equipment, process contents, additional training, etc.)
Do equipment and truck checks and give the Facilities Manager your completed list to sign off on.
Growth Tasks
Request days while you are off-call to ride along with a PM. (Can not exceed 1 in 7 days off.) Ideally, do it during the week if you are 3rd or 4th on the rotation so you dont have a helper with you.
Sit down with a PM or the ESR Manager to do Xactimate training.
Read through job notes to see how the PMs are responding to adjusters so you can learn the insurance process.
For non-native speaking English employees. Take additional English lessons so you can read/write/speak more fluent English. Around 2/3rds to 3/4ths of all communication is done via email so this is a requirement to move up to the PM position.
Look into your certifications to make sure you have CE credits to remain certified.
MILESTONES
Have a green score for the ETOC average.
Do 2 ride alongs a month with the PMs.
Complete CE courses to continue your growth with Romexterra.

Your compensation package includes:
Salary $23-$26/hr DOE or up to 5% of total revenue created.
Quarterly performance bonuses
The employee is eligible for the following commission plan to be paid on total sales:
3% of total mitigation and content sales that are a direct result of a documented relationship that Employee has initiated and maintained
1% of total reconstruction/ repair sales that are a direct result of a documented relationship that Employee has initiated and maintained
The company will provide a company laptop, cell phone, and vehicle.
Health, vision, and dental insurance
After 90 days, the employee will be eligible for Paid Time Off
5 days vacation and 3 sick days for the 1st year of employment
After 3 years of employment, the employee will be eligible for 2 weeks of vacation and 3 sick days
