Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of prospective exterior construction projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
• Review project plans, specifications, and architectural drawings to accurately estimate project costs, timelines, and material requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure precise project assessments and address any potential issues.
• Analyze project site conditions, identify and assess potential risks, and incorporate them into project estimates.
• Prepare detailed and competitive bids, proposals, and cost estimates for clients, adhering to project requirements and budgetary guidelines.
• Maintain and update estimating databases, ensuring accuracy and consistency in cost data.
• Stay informed about industry trends, material costs, and construction methods to provide accurate estimations and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers and construction teams, offering ongoing support throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements:

• Xactimate experience and claim process handling are required
• Proven experience as an Exterior Estimator or in a similar role within the Water/Fire Restoration industry.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of exterior construction processes, materials, and methodologies.
• Proficiency in analyzing project plans, specifications, and architectural drawings to extract accurate project information.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with the ability to perform detailed cost calculations and estimates.
• Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in estimations.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders, including architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients.
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools used for estimating, such as construction estimation software and spreadsheets.
• Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethical conduct.

Benefits

The employee is eligible for the following commission plan to be paid on total sales when the employee refers business to Romexterra:

3% of total mitigation and content sales that are a direct result of a documented relationship that Employee has initiated and maintained

1% of total reconstruction/ repair sales that are a direct result of a documented relationship that Employee has initiated and maintained

The company will provide a company vehicle, laptop, and cell phone.
