Overview:
Fast paced dental office looking for front office employee to join our great team.
Duties:
Front office tasks will be divided among front office staff as a collaborative effort and will be determined based on workload, skillset, and availability. The job responsibilities below, therefore, are very much subject to change based on the candidate.
Financial Responsibilities:
- Reconcile accounts in QuickBooks
- Track and monitor accounts payable and receivable
- Monitor outstanding and rejected insurance claims
Human Resource Responsibilities:
- Review employee PTO requests
- Mediate and monitor employee conflicts when necessary and make recommendations to owner when corrective action is required
- Assist owner in hiring/termination/review processes as needed
Patient Management:
- Ensure smooth patient check-in and check-out processes
- Coordinate with clinical staff to facilitate patient flow
- Handle patient service concerns and resolve issues promptly
Miscellaneous Responsibilities
- Operate and update social media accounts
- Develop a plan for new patient growth
Requirements:
- Proven experience in dental administrative support or related field
- Familiarity with electronic dental systems like Dentrix, Curve, or similar
- Strong knowledge of medical receptionist duties and patient service best practices
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and compliance requirements
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Effective communication skills to interact with patients and staff
