ROGUE VALLEY COUNTRY CLUB is Hiring a Bartender Near Medford, OR

Rogue Valley Country Club is now hiring a Bartender!
The Bartender is responsible for the daily operations of the bar, providing refreshments to our members and their guests at the pool bar, snack shack bar, banquet bar, in an efficient and pleasant manner.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Greet members and guests promptly and courteously to ensure they have a positive experience
  • Completes accurate cash handling transactions and follows cash handling policies and procedures including accounting for all products sold
  • Keeps the bar clean and organized at all times
  • Tracks inventory in a method consistent with training
  • Operates the bar safely and provides immediate feedback to management regarding maintenance issues.
  • Understands and exercises professional judgment relative to alcohol service
  • Follows company policies and procedures and health and safety standards
  • Strives to uphold and promote company service standards and greets members and guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
  • Possesses a working knowledge of beverage selections and is able to make recommendations to guests
  • Adheres to all required alcohol service regulations and follows the training for intervention procedures consistently
  • Adheres to company dress code standards

Environmental/Physical/Mental Requirements:
Bartenders perform the majority of their duties in direct contact with other members of the food service team and members. This requires these individuals to posses the ability to be on their feet much of the time, move freely about our entire kitchen and dining facilities and lift and carry for a short distance up to 50 pounds. They must be able to stoop, kneel, push, and pull for several hours per day and have full use of their entire body. They must be able to read and comprehend usage instructions for cleaning products and follow these accurately. Must be able to communicate effectively. The use of industrial kitchen equipment and products requires excellent hand/eye coordination, ability to comprehend operation of the equipment, and the ability to handle multiple priorities at the same time. Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, and a variety of shifts.

Qualifications:
Experience | Two years of food handling experience and two years of bartending experience preferred but not required.
Skills | Demonstrated talent for interacting with a wide variety of people; ability to effectively organize and coordinate multiple priorities; ability to work well as a team member; ability to problem solve.
Education | High School Diploma preferred but not required; reading and effective communication skills required
Licenses/Certifications | State of Oregon Food and Beverage Service Worker's Permit. Must have a valid OLCC certification and food handlers card. Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid Oregon State driver's license with a favorable driving record.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal

Pay: From $14.20 per hour
