JOB
This position’s primary responsibility is to work with a Lead Instructor to provide quality and supportive instruction and assessments for nursing assistant students in a classroom, lab, learning center, and/or clinical site.Supervision Received Works under the general supervision of the dean of business and workforce development. May take direction from the Nursing Assistant Education Specialist and/or Lead Instructor.
EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
Demonstrate and Implement Board-approved curriculum content within clinical sites, lab and classroom settings.Instructs and assesses nursing assistant students in a classroom, lab, learning center, or clinical site.Represents the program and the college to the community, business, public agencies, and other organizations in a professional manner.Works with Training Service Coordinator to ensure departmental equipment, supplies, and education materials are conducive to teaching and learning.Provides a positive, supportive learning environment.Performs other duties as assigned.
