Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Produce Associate to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling produce items, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized produce department.

Duties:
- Clean and prepare produce items for display and sale
- Package and label products following food safety guidelines
- Stock shelves and maintain a visually appealing produce section
- Assist customers in selecting fresh produce items
- Operate cash registers for transactions
- Engage in sales activities to promote featured produce items

Skills:
- Proficiency in retail math for accurate pricing and calculations
- Experience with cash register operations
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the produce department
- Strong packaging skills to ensure product quality and presentation
- Knowledge of stocking procedures to keep shelves well-stocked
- Sales skills to recommend products and increase sales
- Familiarity with retail sales practices to enhance customer experience
