Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Greenhouse Worker to join our team. As a Greenhouse Worker, you will play a vital role in the cultivation and maintenance of plants within our greenhouse facility.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in planting, watering, and caring for plants in the greenhouse
- Operate and maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants
- Perform tasks related to greenhouse maintenance such as cleaning, organizing, and repairing equipment
- Monitor plant growth and health, reporting any issues to supervisors
- Harvest plants when ready for sale or further processing
- Utilize hand tools for various greenhouse activities
Skills:
- Experience in farming, gardening, or greenhouse work is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge for basic equipment maintenance
- Proficiency in basic math for measurements and calculations
- Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed
- Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in greenhouse operations
- Knowledge of irrigation systems to water plants effectively
