Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Insurance Agent to join our team. As an Insurance Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and selling insurance policies to clients. This is a sales-oriented role that requires strong communication and negotiation skills.
Duties:
- Sell insurance policies to potential clients, including auto and home insurance
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction and retention
- Assess clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Provide accurate and detailed information about insurance policies, terms, and conditions
- Analyze clients' current insurance policies and make recommendations for improvements or additional coverage
- Process policy changes, and payments accurately and efficiently
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in insurance products
- Collaborate with underwriters, adjusters, and other professionals to ensure smooth operations
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales or customer service roles
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Knowledge of insurance products and industry regulations (HIPAA knowledge is a plus)
- Ability to analyze clients' needs and recommend appropriate coverage options
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on building long-term relationships
- Proficient in using computer systems for sales administration and benefits administration
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Valid insurance license or willingness to obtain one within a specified timeframe
- Must speak well Spanish and English
