Rodier Family Law is Hiring a Legal Receptionist Near Bel Air, MD

**Job Overview:**

As a legal receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and callers contacting the law firm. Your primary responsibility is to ensure a positive and professional experience for all individuals interacting with the firm, both in person and over the phone. You will provide administrative support to attorneys and staff members as needed.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Front Desk Operations:**

- Greet clients and visitors in a courteous, professional, and welcoming manner.

- Answer incoming calls, route them to the appropriate person or department, and take messages when necessary.

- Maintain a welcoming and inviting atmosphere in the reception area.

2. **Client Assistance:**

- Assist clients with scheduling appointments, providing directions, and answering basic inquiries about the firm's services.

- Maintain confidentiality and discretion when handling sensitive client information.

3. **Administrative Support:**

- Perform general clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing documents.

- Assist with the preparation and distribution of legal documents, correspondence, and mailings.

- Coordinate meetings, conference calls, and appointments for attorneys and staff.

4. **Communication Management:**

- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, including sorting, distributing, and processing deliveries.

- Monitor and respond to emails in a timely and professional manner.

5. **Technology and Equipment:**

- Operate and maintain office equipment such as multi-line phone systems, printers, and photocopiers.

- Proficiently use computer software applications for word processing, spreadsheets, and email communication.

**Qualifications:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in office administration or related field is a plus.

- Prior experience as a receptionist or in a customer service role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a polite and friendly demeanor.

- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Proficiency in using office equipment and computer software, including Microsoft Office suite.

- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Professionalism, discretion, and respect for confidentiality are essential.

- Personable and polished demeanor.
