Are you a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner with a passion for critical care? Look no further! Independent Lung Associates is seeking a dedicated ICU Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic team.
Position: ICU Nurse Practitioner Schedule: 7 Days On, 7 Days Off
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional care and support to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
- Collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
- Perform physical assessments, order diagnostic tests, and interpret results to guide treatment decisions.
- Work closely with a Pulmonary / Critical Care Physician
- Provide bedside procedures when required.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
Requirements:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner license in [FL].
- Strong knowledge of critical care procedures and protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make critical decisions under pressure.
- Certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS).
