Responsibilities:
● Provide professional and ethical mental health care, with a focus on medication management.
● Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
● Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and other healthcare professionals.
● Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
● Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, treatment options, and self-care strategies.
● Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
● Mapping for Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation.
Requirements:
● Active, valid licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.
● Demonstrated experience in psychiatric care, with a minimum of 3 years experience preferred.
● Strong knowledge of psychiatric disorders, treatments, and medications.
● Proficiency in medication management and psychiatric assessment techniques.
● Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with patients and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
● Commitment to providing patient-centered care and promoting holistic well-being.
● Willingness to stay abreast of advancements in psychiatric treatment modalities and evidence-based practices.
● Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
● Proficient in prescribing controlled substances.
● Experience with patients under 12 years of age, preferred.
● Already credentialed with insurance companies preferred but not required.
● Proficient in medical documentation systems.
